christmas at work

So basically these are the other pair of Christmas yoga pants that I purchased a few weeks ago. They're my absolute favorite. It's freezing down here in Florida so I got these. They're also very comfortable and true to size. I think they were nine bucks at Walmart. I don't know if they still have some or not, but definitely check out your local store. They are in with the leggings and they have a variety of different patterns.

and of course this is me. My sweatshirt is from the Martin Truex Jr retail shop, from last year. I have no idea if they still have any in stock but they're sixty bucks if you're a major MTJ fan like I am and want to rep him during the holiday season, which is also the off-season for NASCAR. I will try to eventually link the sweatshirt so let me know if you want it. Also have a very Merry Christmas if I don't post again before then!

Get Out of Your Head part two

So sorry I'm late for this second post, life got in the way.

I don't have a lot of notes about this but basically she's outlining some patterns to help combat overthinking and anxiety. Something I should have done this whole bloody week 😭😂. 

here she's explaining about the attacks Satan plans so you'll stay in that awful anxiety ridden spiral. The sooner we recognize the signs, the better we can pray to God to help us out of it. 

this is talking about our Mission as Christians that God gave us which is to turn away from temptation and sin. And again tells about the signs and how to recognize them.

and Ultimately the victory Jesus has already given us when He died on the cross. This is a victory Satan wants us to forget. Naturally. (My apologies for sounding so basic right now, I forgot what all I was originally going to say 😭)

these are sort of thoughts and whatever that likely run through our minds as excuses to not get in touch with God.

Don't worry, the next time I post about this, I'll make sure to do so after I take the photos and have just read it 😂😭. I still hope this is helpful.

work outfits

So as y'all know I work at FedEx Ground as a package handler. So since it's a physically demanding job, it's recommended that you wear exercise clothing and shirts or tanktops. So this is my outfit for work. The yoga pants I got at Dollar General, they were ten bucks and the shirt was found in the laundromat as something someone was getting rid of it or they're moving. Yes technically it's a PJ shirt but IDC 😂. 

also you can't see it but I'm covered in sweat. 😂 I helped unload two different vanlines and did SWAK (boxes scanned that aren't on file) for three different vanlines. But pretty much this is what I wear to work on the daily. Yoga pants and either tanktops or t-shirts. Also tennis shoes are highly recommended, however I do want to eventually invest in some steel toe boots. I'm tired of 80 plus pound boxes being dropped on my feet. 😂 Anyways, this is my work outfit. Enjoy 😂

Peppermint Frosty

Sadly I didn't get a photo of my Frosty before I downed it, because in Florida, even on a cold day it melts quickly. So maybe next time I'll take a photo 😂. I was also pretty hungry. But the Frosty was absolutely delicious. It was Christmas in a cup. I ate it with french fries and a small bowl of refried beans. I am a vegetarian and on Slimfast, but that's another post altogether. But anyways, if y'all are tired of hot cocoa or whatever, try the Peppermint Frosty, it's scrumptious!

Get Out of Your Head

This book I'm reading is one of the BEST for helping out fellow Christians to deal with anxiety. 

I really didn't get to share the earlier chapters because it was a lot to process. But this portion of the book I'll try to share with you guys as much of it as I can. She's talking currently about Part two of her book and show how to mentally combat against Satan. He's literally the reason why so many of us have anxiety. It's basically his way of attacking us to get us to doubt and turn from God. So she's helping us armor up against him. 

she points out Ephesians basically stating that our fight isn't in the flesh, meaning we're not physically fighting Satan. It's in our minds where he attacks us. And she also tells us: We are what we think. Again, this means whatever we think of ourselves is who we are as people. 

she goes on to say that the enemy likes to tell us that it's hopeless and that God doesn't care which is obviously outright lies. Also no matter what we go through, God will always be there for us and with us. I know this is a lot to take in so I'll likely post this chapter in multiple parts. This book is a LOT to take in and it's not a bad thing, I just don't like to overwhelm my audience 😂. So part two will likely be tomorrow or later today once I've collected my thoughts. My sister and I are both sick so bare with us. She still has more from the NASCAR Awards Banquet to post so that will be coming soon too

another anxiety book

I've started reading another book about Anxiety. This one's secular I believe but I'm going to read it to see if it can still be helpful. 

I'm almost sorry the author's last name is Baskin but hopefully she's not like that so and so Carole Baskin. XD I had to go there. I'll post tomorrow about Get Out of Your Head. So far I love that book. 

Clothing

Okay so this will likely end up being a multiple post. Oh well 😂. But lately I've been obsessed with Christmas clothing. Of course it also doesn't help that I'm obsessed with Christmas but that's another post altogether, LOL! So anyways this year I've been finding clothes that have Christmas themes on them and I've just recently purchased a Christmas Tanktop and two pairs of Christmas yoga pants. 

I got these at Walmart yesterday for $9. They're super soft, super comfy. The sizes are going fast but I will let you know to size down if you want some that actually fit you because these are large fitting. I'm wearing an XL because the next size down was an XS. I'll be posting about the ones I got at Big Lots tomorrow. (Pretty sure I'm coming down with something.)

Books

If anyone wants to know what all I read for devotionals in a day, well. Mostly I read them on my phone with the YouVersion Bible App. I've had that app for years. I highly recommend that app if you're a new Christian or a Christian who's been one for a while now and want it on your phone so you don't have to lug a heavy Bible around. The devotionals are incredible and they fit every mood or whatever you're going through. I use it for Anxiety and such. 

   But if you want an actual book to read on the daily, I highly recommend Finding Favor with the King by Tommy Tenney. A long time ago he wrote a book about Queen Esther called Hadassah: One Night With the King. And he wrote this devotional to accompany it. Well my late grandfather gave me both. Hadassah was for my 16th birthday and the devotional was right before he died. Esther's my favorite book in the Bible so that's why he gave them to me and now the devotional is amazing. It's helping me get through the rough times I'm currently going through. (No I will not talk about it.) 

   I'll be posting about another book I'm reading that's helping me with overthinking in a few days.

Hey y'all

Okay so, this is gonna be a test blog to see how me and my sister, Ash, can do. Our blogging topics are now going to be mostly: Fashion, food, books and the paranormal since she's an empath (possibly more) and I'm a psychic medium. (Trust me, oh Christian readers, I've prayed over this and my abilities have gotten stronger. Also I don't do any rituals that would make my God-given abilities a sin so don't come at me unless it's in love and to ask GENUINE questions.) We both love food, clothes and reading so yeah and she'll be trying out the blog as well so. We'll keep in touch.
